How do I enter the delivery price when paying online?

Firstly choose the items you wish to buy by adding them into the shopping cart. Then at the shopping cart page you will see where to enter the agreed delivery price. If you do enter it incorrectly it is simple to correct it on the next page. If you are arranging delivery yourself then leave this blank.

How much does Delivery Cost?

Please see below. The prices we quote include any packaging we deem necessary, see packaging below. It does not include any delivery insurance, see delivery insurance below.

Local Deliveries

Local deliveries are free and we deem local to be a distance of around twenty miles. Prices for distances greater than this are calculated upon request.

Local deliveries are done by ourselves.

Non local deliveries

We use a third party for this and always phone around to get the best price. This obviously will vary on the distance and the speed of delivery required. Some smaller items such as boxes can be posted through Royal Mail.

Delivery only prices to anywhere in England take around 1 week and cost around £60 and large items will be slightly more . Discounts are obviously given when picking up multiple items. Prices to Scotland and Ireland will be slightly more, add around 20 pounds.

Examples of costs:

Small light items that can be posted. Bedside Cabinets, chests etc. Around £17 to £30.

Medium. Chest of drawers, medium tables. Around £60.

Large. Single Wardrobes, Small Dressers From £60 to £80.

Extra Large. Dining Tables, Kitchen Dressers, Triple Wardrobes  £60 to £100. The cost is more dependent on the size taken up in the van.

Sometimes we will do some of the non local deliveries. For instance when we are travelling the country in search or furniture or travelling to and from Great Yarmouth, Hertford, Malton (fairly regular journey for us) and have space available in our van.

European and International orders

Again arranged through others and a quote can be sort by contacting us.

How long does Delivery Take?

Depending on how you pay and where you live this can be from the same day to around 1 week. European and International orders can take many weeks.

How long do local deliveries take?

Normally delivery can be the same day or two to three working days from receipt of your order. However delivery can take up to one weeks when we are extremely busy. It is possible to pay a small fee to jump to the front of the queue.

How long do non local deliveries take?

This could be the same day depending on how you pay but arranging the cheapest delivery method it takes around 1 week.

How long do European and International orders take?

European orders can also take up to two weeks and orders to North America can take up to three weeks.

How much does Packaging Cost?

If packaging is used by us this is included in the price of the delivery. However if you require special packaging then please contact us for a quote. For example you may wish for additional bubble wrapping and / or cardboard covering and / or to be contained within a wooden crate.

Most transportation companies use their own temporary packaging in the van / lorry.

If you are arranging insurance with the delivery the type of packaging may affect the price.

Do I need Delivery Insurance?

The large majority of deliveries are trouble free however accidents can happen. If you require delivery insurance you can arrange this yourself or contact us for a quote.

Returns Policy

Just return any item within 30 days for an exchange or a full refund of the purchase price. The goods must be returned in exactly the same condition as purchased from us. The transportation is the opposite of the delivery to yourselves ie it can be arranged by yourselves or ourselves.

The purchaser pays for packaging and insurance if deemed necessary. Remember to obtain a Proof of Postage.

Normally we will refund you within a week from the day we receive the goods but please allow up to 3 weeks.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

Non local, European and International deliveries are always priced to kerbside / outside your house. Often there is only one driver who will need your help move large items.
